Almahmeed Travel Grant
1. Applications:
- The Committee will make its independent selection by the first week of September, 2025.
- A letter of support from the candidate’s program director is required during the application process.
- Priority is given to those that submitted accepted abstracts.
- 10 grant recipients will be now notified by September, 2025.
- Grants will be provided after showing the attendance certificate during the last day of the conference &
can be collected from the speakers room.
- By registering, you consent to receive newsletters and updates about current and future relevant events.
2. Eligibility:
- Citizens or residents of the Middle East only.
- Age limit 35 years.
- Fellows and physicians in training in accredited cardiology training programs in the Middle East and Africa.
- The following criteria will be considered during the selection process to ensure diversity and milestones:
Age, Country, Experience, Specialty.
- Number of publications indexed in the last 5 years, etc.
3. Conditions:
- The grant is intended for the 17th Gulf Heart Association Conference only.
- In case of absence due to illness, force majeure or other unavoidable circumstances, the grant award
would be deemed lost and the candidate asked to explain his/her absence.
- All paperwork (visa, study leave, etc…) remains the responsibility of the applicant.
- Applicants are eligible for one source of funding only. If alternative funds are available on top of the travel
grant applicants must notify the committee immediately.
- Registration is complimentary to grant winners.
